I’m Allison Kotarsky, the owner, graphic designer, and printer here at Paper Hearts!
After graduating college and earning my bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, I started designing my first save the date card and I’ve been hooked ever since. I get giddy over the fun, the beauty, and the love in the wedding industry. I really enjoy giving couples a unique and personalized approach to their wedding stationery.
Be sure to follow my instagram @paperheartsinvitations for even more inspiration and updates on my daily life as a designer and mama to two little boys. My favorite design elements include watercolor florals and script fonts. I also love a good dusty blue or blush pink envelope. Vintage stamps and wax seals make my antique-loving heart sing a happy tune. I could chat about details for hours! No seriously, I love talking about paper and stationery with people who are just as excited as I am. Think we’d be a good fit?
I can’t wait to work with you!
One // I’m the mama to two little boys. I never thought I would be a boy mom, but I actually don’t mind playing in the dirt and watching superhero movies. I work from home so my office hours aren’t always set to a schedule and I like it that way!
Two // I started designing wedding invitations because I loved ordering swatch books and looking through all of the colors, no joke. I would spend hours pulling swatches and making pretty color combinations.
Three // I grew up in the small town of Uniontown, Pennsylvania. I graduated from Cal U where I was the captain of the dance team. My husband is a Penn State grad, so we love spending weekends in State College! Bob actually proposed on the steps of Old Main making Penn State even more special for us.
Four // I love to run and it’s a great stress reliever for the hectic spring wedding season. Some think I’m crazy, but when I’m training I look forward to the long 7-8 mile run days to clear my head and push myself. I’ve completed 5 half marathons and I’m excited to start training for a 6th!
